Andre Dillard to Miss Entire 2020 Season with Bicep Injury

AGSN discussed this scenario just a few days ago in Eagles Talk: Offensive Line. It’s been confirmed by Mike Garafolo that Andre Dillard will miss the entire 2020 season with a biceps injury. Dillard was the Eagles first-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The Philadelphia Eagles now will be missing two starting offensive lineman for the full 2020 season. All-Pro right guard Brandon Brooks tore his achillies in the offseason that will force him to miss the year. Before the start of training camp, they re-signed Jason Peters to a one-year deal. He was expect to be Brooks replacement at RG, but with the news of Dillard, it seems more likely that Jason Peters will be starting at Left Tackle Week 1 against the Washington Redskins.

The Eagles could choose a different path and start Jordan Mailata at Left Tackle. He has been getting some first team reps this year in training camp, and stepped in at practice today as well. The former rugby star was selected by the Eagles in the 7th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He had never played a down of football before being drafted.
